EAA Chapter 54 sponsors a yearly pancake breakfast to raise funds for our education programs. Proceeds of this years event will go towards sending candidates to the EAA's "Air Academy". So mark the following date on your calendar and plan on attending the best fly-in of the 2011 season.

2011 Lake Elmo Aviation Day
Sunday, August 14, 7:00 to Noon

This years menu has changed. In addition to the Brine's Sausage and Scrambled Eggs, which were popular in 2010, we have added Sturiwheat Pancakes. Sturdiwheat will be on hand to officiate a "flap-jack flipping contest". All this for only $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children ages 5 to 12. Kids under 5 and PIC's are FREE. As always there will be aircraft to view, multiply vendors showing their products and services, and you can sign-up your children for a future Young Eagle plane ride.

Don't have a transponder? NO PROBLEM. We've gotten you a Mode "C" waiver for the day of the fly-in. Click here to see your Mode "C" waiver and follow the easy to understand map. Remember to stay at or below 2000 MSL.

Want to help us out and make this the best attended event of the season? How about printing a copy of our 2011 Aviation Day Flyer and posting it at your local airport.

Below are some photographs from the 2010 event. Enjoy!
